Salmon Creek, a vintage unspoiled beach community, one mile north of Bodega Bay, is home to a small Bohemian group of artists who work out of their beach house studios. These artists are pleased to open their studios to groups or individuals by appointment. The Artists-by-the-Sea are currently working in the following media: Stained Glass, Copper Sculpture, Pastels, Painted Gourds, Figurative Sculpture, Mixed Media and Photography. Salmon Creek ArtWalk
The Salmon Creek ArtWalk, a highly regarded open studio art show, established in 2001 by Diana Bundy, has become the premiere Sonoma Coast art event. The annual show, held the first weekend in May each year, showcases works in several mediums such as, Stained Glass, Photography, Custom Leather Design, Pastels, Painted Gourds, Sculpture & Mixed Media, Woodworking, Fine Art and more. The Salmon Creek ArtWalk is a juried show offering works by 15 to 18 artisans each year making the event ever changing, interesting and enjoyable. Held each winter on the last weekend in February. This extraordinarily funny night of lip sync entertainment is produced and directed by Michael and Diana Bundy with proceeds benefiting the Bodega Bay Grange, the local elementary school Art Program, the Fireworks and the local Community Center. This event, which sells out early each year, brings together the entire Bodega Bay community which participates by performing, working crew or being an enthusiastic audience.
